I film the run, not just the shot
The supporting run, the third-man pass, the defender who tracked back. Those are the moments that show how a player thinks, and the ones a phone on a tripod misses.
Highlight reels, hype videos and photography for club and high school soccer players, made by a Seattle soccer dad who has created 300+ pieces of content and knows what to look for on the field.
Or DM me on Instagram →A look at recent highlight videos and the reels I post on Instagram.
Want your team to hear the game? I run mic'd-up sessions: a mic on a captain or key players, cut tight for Reels. Real calls, real reactions, the stuff that doesn't show up on a normal highlight.
Players are only featured with your team's and families' OK.
I'm Mark. I've stood on the same cold Seattle sidelines you have, phone in hand, trying to catch the one moment my daughter will want to watch again.
That's how this started. I began filming my daughter's team, then other families asked for clips, then I started editing. Today I film and edit for club and high school teams around Seattle, and I've made over 300 pieces of soccer content. Highlight reels, hype videos, game-day photos, and social posts.
Because I'm a parent on the sideline too, I know what you want from the footage: your player doing what they do best, clearly and in context. I watch the whole field, not just the ball, and I'm picky about the details: the run before the pass, the recovery after the turnover, the keeper's first step.
One of the reasons I do this is to show off all the hard work kids put in. It's fun to make them feel special and show the best of who they are.Let's talk about your player
Generic sports videographers chase the ball. Soccer is decided by what happens around it, and that's where I point the camera.
The supporting run, the third-man pass, the defender who tracked back. Those are the moments that show how a player thinks, and the ones a phone on a tripod misses.
Keepers, center backs, holding mids and wingers do different jobs. A defender's reel isn't a striker's reel, and I edit each one for what matters in that role.
Wide enough to see shape and space, tight enough to see the touch. Clear jersey ID, clean cuts, no flashy effects hiding the play.
From the first whistle to the finished post. Not sure where to start? Begin with a highlight reel.
Full matches and tournaments. I film the whole game, following the play, with your player as the focus. Book for your family, split a game with other families on your team, or book for your club.
Ask about this →Built around your player's position: their best clips first, clean jersey ID, and a short cut for social. Ask your club coach what a program wants and I'll build to match.
Ask about this →Music-driven edits with beat cuts, slow-mo and freeze frames. Made to be shared by the player, the team and the grandparents.
Ask about this →Action shots from the game. Sharp on the player, with that cool-toned pro look.
Ask about this →Reels, carousels and posts made for Instagram and TikTok. Content for players, teams, clubs and sponsors, written in the voice parents and players actually use.
Ask about this →Planning, posting and growing a player, team or club account, so you get consistent content without it becoming another job.
Ask about this →A highlight reel should look like the player it's about. Here's what I look for, and how I cut it.
Positioning before the save, the first step, 1v1s, crosses, and distribution off both feet. The save gets its moment, and so does the goal kick that starts the attack.
Reading danger early, winning duels and headers, stepping in to intercept, playing out under pressure. Defending rarely goes viral, so I cut the tackle, the cover and the clearance to land.
Recovery runs, overlaps, 1v1 defending on the touchline, playing out of the back, and the cross. I film wide so you see the whole run, not just the end of it.
Screening, first touch under pressure, and distribution that plays forward, not just sideways. Their best plays are the ones nobody notices, so I stay on the next option, not just the ball.
Finding space between the lines, the final pass, the through ball, and the goals and assists that follow. I keep the setup in frame so the pass makes sense.
1v1 take-ons, cutting inside, pace, end product, tracking back. Real speed on the touch that beats the defender, wide framing so you see the run.
A range of finishes first, then the movement that made them: the run, the hold-up play, the press.
Tell me their position and what they do best, and I'll build around it.
Recruiting questions? Ask your club coach or director what programs want. I'll build what they ask for.
Position, grad year, club or school, and what you're hoping the video does.
I'm on the sideline around Seattle. Or send game film from anywhere and I'll edit it.
You review, we adjust, and nothing goes out until you love it.
Files sized for email, player profiles, Instagram and TikTok.
I plan, edit and post content for soccer coaches, trainers and teams, the same way I do for families. You coach. I turn it into video people want to watch.
For coaches who want their coaching seen. Short, repeatable clips with a clear hook, one takeaway and a call to action, built to be watched and saved.
Highlights and promo videos that show families what a session is actually like, so they can picture their player there.
A Reels-first plan, captions and a posting rhythm, so your account keeps going even in a busy season.
Players are only featured with your team's and families' OK. I follow your club's media rules.
Yes. A keeper's reel, a center back's reel and a winger's reel are cut differently. I build each one around what that position does best, including the play away from the ball, not just goals and saves.
In my experience, about 3 to 5 minutes works well, with the strongest clips first. I also make a 30 to 60 second cut for social media and quick introductions. Your club coach or director can tell you if a specific program wants something different.
Send your game footage along with the player's jersey number, position and team colors, and I'll edit it into a highlight reel or social media clips. I can also film games in person around Seattle.
A soccer-specific videographer knows where to stand, when to zoom, how to follow play away from the ball, and which moments matter for each position. The editing uses clean cuts and clear player identification, and you get a finished file ready to post or send.
Yes. I make coach content and lesson reels, mic'd-up player videos for teams, clinic and camp promo videos, and content plans for soccer coaches, trainers and teams. Players are only featured with the team's and families' approval.
Filming is in person around Seattle and the Puget Sound area. Editing, highlight reels and social media management can be done remotely with game footage you send or upload.
Several families on the same team can split one game. Filming is $450 for the whole game, divided among the families who join: 5 families pay $90 each, 8 families pay about $56. Each family can add the extras it wants, like a moment clip of their player's best play ($30) or a clip pack ($50 each when 3 or more families order). One parent pays the deposit and collects from the others.
A 50% deposit holds your date. If weather or a schedule change moves the game, you get one free reschedule, subject to my availability. Edited reels arrive within 48 hours of the game, and the full game within 5 days.
Players and families approve before any player is named or tagged. Without approval, players are referred to by jersey number only.
Tell me a little about your player and what you need. I reply personally, usually within a day.
