Seattle · Club & High School SoccerSoccer highlight videos, built by position.
A highlight video should look like the player it's about. I edit each one around what that position actually does on the field, not a generic cut of goals and tackles, so the clips that matter don't get buried.
What's in the edit.
Every reel starts with the player's best clips first, cut clean with clear jersey ID, built around their position. A keeper's reel is about positioning before the save and distribution after it. A center back's reel is about duels won and danger read early. A winger's reel is about the touch that beats a defender, not just the cross that follows it.
Most reels run 3 to 5 minutes, with a short 30 to 60 second cut included for social media and quick introductions. If a specific club or program wants something different (a shorter cut, a different order, specific plays highlighted), ask your club coach or director what they're looking for and I'll build to match. I'm a videographer, not a recruiting consultant, so recruiting strategy is a question for your coach; the video is what I handle.
You can send footage from any game, including footage you or another parent already filmed, and I'll edit it. I can also film the game myself around Seattle and the Puget Sound area if you'd rather not worry about filming at all. Either way, I'll need the player's jersey number, position and team colors so I can find them quickly in the footage.

Keepers, center backs, fullbacks, holding mids, attacking mids, wingers and strikers each get a different edit. See how I film and cut each one on the positions page, or jump straight to your player's: goalkeeper, center back, fullback, holding midfielder, attacking midfielder, winger or striker.
About highlight videos.
How long is a soccer highlight video?
In my experience, about 3 to 5 minutes works well, with the strongest clips first. I also make a 30 to 60 second cut for social media and quick introductions. Your club coach or director can tell you if a specific program wants something different.
What footage do you need to edit a highlight video?
Send your game footage along with the player's jersey number, position and team colors, and I'll edit it into a highlight reel. I can also film games in person around Seattle, so you don't need to film anything yourself.
Is a highlight video edited differently for each position?
Yes. A keeper's reel, a center back's reel and a winger's reel are cut differently. I build each one around what that position does best, including the play away from the ball, not just goals and saves.
Can a highlight video be used for recruiting?
Families do use these reels on recruiting profiles. I'm not a recruiting consultant, so for strategy (which clips a specific program wants to see, or how to package a profile) ask your club coach or director, and I'll build the video to match what they ask for.
How much does a soccer highlight video cost?
Highlight reels start from $275. The exact price depends on how much footage there is and how many versions you need (full reel plus a short social cut, for example).
Let's get your player's reel started.
Tell me about your player and the footage you have, and I'll put together a highlight video built around their position.
