Fullback highlight video.

A fullback plays both ends of the pitch in the same shift: defending the touchline one moment, overlapping into the final third the next. I film wide so the whole run shows, not just the cross at the end of it.

What I look for

The whole run, not just the end of it.

Overlapping runs only make sense with the buildup in frame: the pass that sends the fullback forward, the run itself, and what happens after the cross goes in. Cut it too tight and it just looks like a cross from nowhere. I frame wide enough that the run reads the way it actually played out.

On defense, 1v1 duels on the touchline show discipline and recovery pace, the kind of defending that keeps a winger quiet without ever making a highlight-reel tackle. Recovery runs after a mistake further up the pitch matter just as much, since getting goal-side again is often the difference between a save and a goal against.

Send game footage along with the player's jersey number and team colors, and I'll build a reel that covers both ends of the position. I can also film the game myself around Seattle.

Questions

About fullback reels.

What do you look for in a fullback highlight video?

Recovery runs, overlaps, 1v1 defending on the touchline, and the cross. I film wide so you see the whole run, not just the end of it.

How long is a fullback reel?

About 3 to 5 minutes works well, with the strongest plays first, plus a 30 to 60 second cut for social media.

What should I send for a fullback highlight video?

Game footage along with the player's jersey number, position and team colors. I can also film games in person around Seattle.

Can a fullback reel be used for recruiting?

Families do use these reels on recruiting profiles. I'm not a recruiting consultant, so ask your club coach or director about strategy, and I'll build the video to match what they ask for.
